Best Iced Hazelnut Latte Recipe to Try at Home

Iced hazelnut lattes are the perfect nutty delight for when those iced coffee cravings hit you. This recipe is super easy and fast. Saving you from having to run to the coffee shop each time you want one of these babies.

Ingredients for an Iced Hazelnut Latte

  1. Coffee grounds
  2. 1 tablespoon hazelnut syrup
  3. 1 cup milk of choice
  4. Lots of ice

Some Ideas About the Ingredients

Espresso Machine or No Espresso Machine?

Both are fine. I like to use my espresso machine, but an AeroPress or Moka pot also work really well. They both make espresso-like coffee and is concentrated enough to make an amazing drink. You can also try instant espresso made with 1oz (30ml) hot water.

I don’t, however, recommend using French press, drip machine or other similar kinds of coffee. It is not as concentrated and won’t give you the same effect.

Homemade Syrup or Store-Bought Syrup?

Once again, either of these options will work really well. If I am lazy I use the ones that I bought at my local grocery store. But if I want an adventure in the kitchen, I make my own.

What Milk Should I Use?

Honestly, it doesn’t matter. I tend to stick to 2% milk when I make iced coffee simply because that is what I usually have in my fridge.

So, it is a matter of personal preference. This recipe will even work with a non-dairy alternative if you can’t or don’t want to use dairy milk.
